BarBilliards1 Twuddle Bar Billiards

Following on from the success of the pool competition some months ago, it’s time to get those cues back into action. This time we’ve opted for bar billiards. Tunbridge Wells is fortunate to have at least two venues boasting a table for this traditional pub game – The Compasses and The Sussex Arms. [If anyone knows of any other local venues, then please let me know].

If there is sufficient interest, the plan is to run the competition in two stages – league qualifying groups followed by a final event for the best players. Rules and timings will be confirmed once we have a better idea of the number of people interested. No prizes, just some fun and the chance to become the first twuddle bar billiards champion.

I would expect the qualifying rounds to run over a period of a month to six weeks with people arranging the matches themselves and reporting back the results to the organiser on Twitter to @tw_people.

Therefore two prerequisites for entry to the competition are access to a Twitter account and a flexible commitment over a number of weeks.

To register for the competition please tweet @tw_people or leave a comment on this blog post.

The deadline for registration is Friday 08 October.

Many thanks.
