How time flies! Tuesday 31st of August is Twuddle’s first birthday. Seems like only yesterday a small band of local Twitterers gathered in The Opera House to meet for the very first time. A year on and both Twuttle and Twuddle have become regular and thriving events. To help celebrate our birthday we’re going to hold a bake-off ~ and we’re issuing a challenge to one and all to bake a cake (or  cupcakes) to bring along on the night. Who’s up for it? For fun, we’ll all help judge the entries and let each Twuddler cast a vote in the following categories:

1) Best tasting cake (yes, we’ll all get the chance to eat them!)
2) Best decorated cake
3) Most innovative cake recipe
4) Most ‘Twuddlesome’ cake.

All categories should be self-evident apart from perhaps number four ~ ‘Twuddlesome’, what’s that about? Well let’s just say that ‘Twuddlesome’ relates to the cake that best defines the spirt of Twuddle. That could be its taste, recipe, ingredients, decoration… or whatever! We’ll leave it up to you (and everyone who casts a vote on the night) to decide.

So get baking! We look forward to seeing (and tasting) the results on Tuesday evening. As usual, Twuddle starts at 7.30pm and will be held at Sankey’s on Mount Ephraim in Tunbridge Wells ~ see you there!
