Three weeks to the day (or rather, evening!) after the Photowalk, the resulting exhibition of photos opens at Camden Road’s Wobblybridge Gallery on Wednesday 30th June. The doors will be open at 7pm, at which time votes can be placed, wine can be supped and (with the individual photographer’s permission) the photographic prints themselves can be purchased for £10 each. All money raised will go to a charity of the winning photographer’s choice.
To recap on how the judging works ~ each person who attends the opening night will be able to cast a vote. There is no judging panel ~ the ‘people’ themselves will decide on the winner! It is of course forbidden to vote for your own entry.
The winning entries will be announced at the end of the evening ~ between 8.30pm to 9pm.

STOP PRESS!
It has been kindly suggested by both Wobblybridge Gallery and Redbox Cameras that photographic prints in the Photowalk exhibition be made available for sale at the special price of £10 each ~ with all money raised going to charity. Please note that photographic prints will only be sold with the photographer’s permission. Each £10 print will be run out by Redbox Cameras to the exact size and specification as displayed in the exhibition. Money raised will go to a charity of the winning photographer’s choice.
For further information please contact one of the event organisers.
Full copyright of the images in the exhibition remains with the originating photographers. The only files held by the organisers are digital scans of the winning entries. All other images (ie negatives) shot on the Photowalk are being returned to the originators ~ no copies have taken. If photographers wish us to destroy files of their chosen entries (now that we have printed a single copy for the exhibition), we will willingly do so. Please contact us with your wishes.

Permission granted from Karen & myself. Always good to support charities.
Thank you. Shame we didn’t think of this ‘angle’ before as we could have got permission more formally. I’m a tad worried that some photographers may feel pressured into giving permission ~ I’m keen they don’t feel that way. I also fully understand why some photographers may not want to give permission to sell off their creation cheaply… albeit for a good cause. See you later at the exhibition?
